Sword of Samwise - Weathertop Collection (UC2614)
Samwise Gamgee, a Hobbit of the Shire, was one of
the most famous Hobbits in Middle-earth for his part in the destruction of the
One Ring and his battle with the great spider, Shelob. He began his life as a
humble gardener to the Baggins family and was a loyal friend to Frodo Baggins.
Out of devotion to his master, Sam joined Frodo on his quest to destroy the One
Ring. He was a dependable companion and possessed great strength and stamina
that allowed him to aid and protect Frodo on the journey. Sam was tough and
steadfast through many perils, including traversing the dreaded pass of Cirith
Ungol. He resisted the temptation of the One Ring all the way to Mount Doom
where the Ring was finally destroyed.
This authentically detailed sword is a reproduction of the prop featured in The
Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring. This sword has been meticulously
recreated by using the actual film prop. The blade was created from stainless
steel instead of carbon steel as used on the original prop, in order to
guarantee the replica will last a lifetime with little maintenance. The cross
guard and pommel are cast metal and the grip is wrapped with genuine leather
exactly like the prop. The replica was created using the finest grade materials
and craftsmanship available. Each replica is laser-serial-numbered on the blade
and marked with the appropriate copyrights to ensure authenticity.
